This is our custom-made outdoor 10-ton load 6DOF motion platform test site, which is used to simulate evacuation crowd dynamics experiments when an earthquake occurs, so as to optimize the safety design of transportation facilities. In recent years, 6DOF motion platforms have been widely used in many such experiments, such as testing the seismic performance of structural designs, developing and testing seismic isolation devices, simulating the impact of earthquakes on infrastructure, and designing safety tests.
